Better & Better

Better and betterFred has been splashing the white paint about, while Patch has been working on the more delicate task of painting the diesel pipes and vents red. The red denotes diesel.

I know it's a small thing, but that second coat of white with the red trim makes me so proud of her.

Lady Jane just keeps on getting better and better.

  3. Maybe not as fast as you would like it to? but from my point of view (way off) she seems to be coming along very well, given all the time you have put into her, she`s really nice

  4. Thanks for your great blog... I've always thought taking an old steel commercial boat and "fixing it up" would make a great vessel.

I put a link to you on my page: http://www.craftacraft.com/i_didnt_mean

  5. Hi Rob

    Thanks.

There is so much more to do, so I am measuring progress against that, as opposed to the stuff I've done.

I should spend some time on my current projects page, so folks can see what I'm facing over the next x months.

Tim, You should be proud. We certainly are proud of and for you with your fine dedication to Lady Jane. Might sound silly to some but she will appreciate this and return to you many safe and happy adventures. Well done! Your friends aboard the Wanderbird, Rick and Karen...ps We hope that you and Pat will be able to join us in Newfoundland.

  12. I don't know about the colour coding on other boats, but on LJ all the diesel pipes are painted red.

Besides the red trim looks so much better than brown would!

  13. Hi R&K

    I'm still very motivated.

Seeing progress and the encouragement of friends helps with this.
